# 12... My Pantoum

After carefully choosing my lines from the list given in class this is the pantoum that I came up with. Some of the lines I changed around a bit. Let me know what you think.

Betrayed

With sorrow I cry:

Beware the Ides of March!

My lover’s tied up and mute

Revealing his dented bones.

Beware the Ides of March!

The story unfolds

Revealing his dented bones

Heaped on the damp sand.

The story unfolds

Under the melancholy skies.

Heaped on the damp sand

His voice contained.

Under melancholy skies

My lover’s tied up and mute.

His voice contained.

With sorrow, I cry.
